CANBERRA
OLD BUS DEPOT MARKETS
Canberra’s famous Old Bus Depot Markets in Kingston has been a local icon since 1994. Open every Sunday from 9.30am until 2.30pm, the markets are held in an old industrial building brimming with fine handcrafted wares, fashion, food and jewellery. The themed Sundays are a real treat and shouldn’t be missed, including multicultural, collectible and designer themes on rotating weekends.
CAPITAL REGION FARMERS MARKETS
Be sure to make your way to Canberra’s original and biggest farmers market this spring, attracting visitors from near and far each and every week. Over 100 stallholders come to the market each week to sell their freshly picked, grown and hand crafted produce, including fruit, vegetables, seafood, meat, bread, wine, cheese, nuts and more. Located at EPIC and held on Saturdays from 7am until 11.30am.

FASHION MARKETS
There are two fashion markets in Canberra that focus on sustainability by encouraging the reuse and recycling of clothing and goods. Firstly, the Three Sixty Fashion Market is a fantastic spot to browse a quality range of high-end designer and vintage clothing and accessories. Their next market day is Sunday 13 September from 10am until 3pm at the Fitters Workshop in Kingston. Also at the same location is the Canberra Fashion Market, known for new and quality pre-loved vintage items, including brand names, designer labels, collectibles and accessories. The next market day is 18 October from 10am until 3pm.

HARTLEY HALL MARKETS
The Hartley Hall Markets, located at the Hall Village showgrounds, offer over 200 stalls filled with local products and fresh produce including fruits and vegetables, smoked meats, baked goods, arts and crafts, plants, furniture, clothing, pottery, unique gifts, and so much more. This family and dog-friendly market also has live entertainment and children’s activities. It is held on the first Sunday of the month from 9am to 2pm, excluding January.
HANDMADE MARKET
Shop at the Handmade Market this spring and support small businesses, meet talented designers and producers, and find unique and Australian made items. This market has been a local institution since 2008, and on 19-20 September will return to EPIC to host over 260 stalls of homewares, crafts, fashion, jewellery, gifts and more. After shopping up a storm, head to the market’s gourmet food hall for a drink and a bite to eat, or pick up some local produce to take home.

SOUTH COAST
CHURCH STREET COLLECTIVE
Shop local and support the circular economy at Church Street Collective, a boutique store selling ethically sourced and locally made wares including jewellery, women’s postpartum clothing, baby and children’s clothes, toys and gifts. There’s also a thrift space here where locals sell premium pre-loved clothes, vintage denim, shoes and accessories. You can also enjoy delicious coffee while you browse.
MORUYA COUNTRY MARKETS
The Moruya Country Markets has been operating for over 35 years and is held every Saturday morning from 8am until 1pm at Riverside Park. Each week over 130 local artisans sell their produce and wares spanning handmade crafts, clothing, unique gifts, jewellery and second-hand treasures.
SAGE FARMERS MARKETS
The SAGE Farmers Market is held every Tuesday from 3pm at Riverside Park in Moruya. This hugely popular, award-winning marketplace is run by Sustainable Agriculture Gardening Eurobodalla (SAGE) NSW Inc, a not-for-profit community group involved in improving food security. The market continues to grow every year as more people come from far and wide to buy authentically grown and harvested produce direct from local farmers, including meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, bread, honey, eggs, milk and preserved goods.
EDWARD ROAD MARKET PLACE
This spring head to the Edward Road Market Place in Batehaven, a popular spot that brings together a collective of small businesses selling fresh produce, coffee, baked goods, plants, fresh flowers, and more. While you’re here, be sure to check out the popular Market Gallery on Edward, a cooperative venture of local artists showcasing their unique and creative works, including painting, sculpture, jewellery and handmade items inspired by the surrounding region.

MOGO COLLECTIVE
This community space located in the heart of Mogo town is home to an incredible selection of creative works and handmade treasures made by over 150 local artisans. Expect to find everything from locally produced art and jewellery, fine foods, textiles, cosmetics, as well as vintage, retro and antique collectables. Homewares and furniture are stocked here too.

BATEMANS BAY SUNDAY MARKET
The Batemans Bay Market is held on the first and third Sundays of the month beside the sea at Corrigans Beach Reserve in Batehaven. Expect to find more than 60 stalls selling fresh food and baked goods, coffee, plants, gifts, antiques, and handcrafted woodwork. You might also be lucky enough to hear some local musicians performing while you browse the stalls. The market is open from 9am until 1pm.

ULLADULLA HARBOUR MARKETS
The vibrant Ulladulla Harbour Markets are held on the second Sunday of the month and attract local stallholders who come to sell fresh produce, vintage wares, fashion, craft, plants, collectables, jewellery and leather goods. There’s also great food and coffee on offer here, which you can enjoy as you soak up the gorgeous harbour views. The market is open from 8am until 1pm.
NAROOMA ROTARY MARKETS
The Narooma Rotary Markets offer an abundance of stalls selling plants, fresh produce, clothing, jewellery, crafts, timber products, handbags, preserves, spices, art, tools, antiques, collectables, bric-a-brac, and more. There are plenty of food stalls available if you fancy a drink or bite to eat. The markets are held on the last Sunday of every month from 9.30am until 1pm at Narooma’s NATA Oval.
